i. provide a broad participation base in the provision of quality education at every level within the institution;

ii. create a center where the frontiers of knowledge could be advanced by scientific research;

iii. meet the  high-level human  resource  need  of the  society and train to produce practitioners;

iv. comply with the educational policies, regulations, rules and procedures as provided from time to time by relevant regulatory authorities;

v. develop skills development program that will contribute to employment and creation and income generation skills;

v. implement learner centered and competence based training programmes; and

vii. ensure relevance, efficiency and  effectiveness  in  teaching and learning process among trainees and trainers.
